AVANTONE CV-12 Microphone Provides "Hot Rodding" via Extra Tubes
The new AVANTONE CV-12 large capsule multi-pattern microphone from Avant Electronics is the first tube mic that comes with three different interchangeable tubes that can be swapped out in less than a minute.
"With the addition of three tubes, the user can "Hot Rod" his microphone to satisfy his sonic taste by changing the gain stage just ahead of the output transformer," stated Glen Heffner, National/ International Sales Manager for Avant Electronics.
The high-grade 6072A, ECC81, & ECC83 tubes come from Russia and the Slovak Republic. The CV-12 large capsule multi-pattern mic has a -10 dB pad, 80 Hz roll-off switch, dual 32mm capsules and features a metallic wine-red finish with polished nickel trim. The mic kit comes complete with power supply, providing nine switchable patterns, a vintage style shock mount, cable, real wooden mic box and an aluminum road case to hold everything.

AVANTONE CV-28 Tube Microphone - Designed Specifically for Acoustic Instruments
Avant Electronics introduces the new AVANTONE CV-28 Tube Microphone, a front firing, small capsule design that was specifically intended for use with acoustic type instruments.
The CV-28 employs high-grade switches for -10 dB pad and 80 Hz roll-off. Three interchangeable 19mm capsules, (Omni, Cardioid, Hyper), are included, which make it useful for many different applications. The CV-28 incorporates a specially selected Beijing low-noise, military-grade tube.
As with all of the Avantone "Cabernet" (C-Series) mics, the CV-28 features a metallic wine-red finish and polished nickel trim. The CV-28 mic kit comes complete with power supply, a vintage style shock mount, cable, real wooden mic box and an aluminum road case to hold everything.
