Behringer announced immediate shipping of the MS16 active monitor speakers (USD 69.99 MSRP). With their 4" woofers and tweeters that are driven by two power-amplifiers, the speakers are suited for home studios, multimedia applications, keyboard and vocal monitoring.
The MS16 speaker features dedicated volume, bass and treble controls, while magnetically shielded drivers allow for placement near computer monitors. Stereo RCA inputs for sound cards facilitate simultaneous use with a second stereo source such as CD or MD players via a 1/8" TRS stereo input. And the MS16's separately adjustable 1/4" TRS microphone input can be used for mixing vocals with a stereo track. Last but not least, a 1/8" TRS headphone connector offersauto-mute loudspeaker function.
