This recording (and the entire album) was made with minimal gear. I used GarageBand 2.0 with a PreSonus Inspire interface and a Soundcraft Compact4 mixer.

For the drums I used the mid-side technique with a Cascade Fat Head Ribbon for the side and an AT3035 for the middle microphone. The Electro-Acoustic bass was recorded DI using a JoeMeek ThreeQ micpre.

The Dobro was recorded using the same ribbon microphone at about 3 inches between the bridge and the f holes. I added reverb using Luxonics free plugin.

The piano was played using an M-Audio ProKeys using KeyRig for the electric piano sound. The vocals were recorded using the AT3035 and processed with Wave labs TrackPlug.

I used Event TR6 monitors for mixing and T-Racks24 for mastering.
