There are now two new additions to the Line 6 Spider II series of guitar amplifiers: Spider II 15 and Spider II 30. Both models offer four amp channel models (Clean, Crunch, Metal, and Insane) that come preset with tone and effects settings crafted by Line 6 sound designers. Channel recall also allows users to create and store their own customized amp and effects settings for each model as well.
These amps also feature a distortion boost, noise gate, and Line 6's Smart Control FX (six different effect types, two simultaneous) including, Phaser, Chorus/Flanger, Tremolo, Sweep Echo, Tape Echo, and Reverb. All effects can be easily tweaked and delay times can be adjusted using tap tempo.
Spider II 15 (15-watts mono) features a custom-designed 8-inch speaker. Spider II 30 (30-watts mono) features a custom-designed Celestion 12-inch speaker, and a footswitch jack that's compatible with the FBV2 and FBV4 foot controllers. Both units also include a CD/MP3 input jack, and a headphone out which also doubles as a line level recording output.
