CreamWare is introducing scopeFX, a low priced DSP system derived from the SCOPE platform that concentrates on mixing, effects and mastering. Included with scopeFX is a collection of processors such as MasterVerb Pro, Vinco, PSY-Q, OptiMaster, Vocodizer and a library of 50 more very usable effects.

scopeFX features a central routing window that allows for latency-free flexible routing between all I/Os, audio and MIDI drivers, software mixers and effect processors. scopeFX also contains powerful software mixers that can mix all the user's audio sources, whether computer internal (via ASIO, GSIF and Windows drivers) or from external sources (via the I/Os of the card).

The scalable system consists of a 6-DSP PCI card (similar to SCOPE project) providing 20 Ins and 20 Outs as well as MIDI I/O. The line of effect modules supplied with scopeFX can operate integrated into Steinberg Cubase SX and Nuendo as VST-compatible effects. Alternatively, scopeFX can operate as a flexible, autonomous audio processor enabling all advanced routing and I/O capabilities of the product. The system is powered by six 32-bit floating point SHARC DSPs from Analog Devices, enabling hardware-like performance that is flexibly controlled via creative software.

In addition to the plugins supplied, scopeFX allows to explore hundreds of further commercial and freeware plugins available on the internet - from 3rdparties such as SPL, Sonic Timeworks, Zarg Music and many more SCOPE SDK developers.

scopeFX will be available this month at a price of EUR 798 MRSP.
