The EMG-P-HZ is a direct replacement for the standard P split pickup, whereas the new EMG-J-HZ set is a direct replacement for both long and short J pickups.
The latter feature a stacked coil format and utilise a newly developed laminated design, which results in virtually noiseless pickups boasting a full tone.
These are also available separately for mixing with other types of pickups.
In addition, a PJ-HZ set includes both the P-HZ and long J-HZ pickups.
All feature the company's ceramic and steel pickup design and come equipped with the company's quick connector for easy installation.
