New form Polarity is GXStack, the first release in their XStack VST plug-in series. GXStack for PC features six custom guitar amplifier models plus chorus and delay effects.

Based on the classic guitar amp tones of the last 50 years, the six amp models (Tweed Boy, Deluxe 30, CrunchTone, OverDrive Custom, Bulldog 100 and VT MetalHead) cover tones from blues twang and classic cleans to full-on rock and metal crunch. Each amp model features a modelled tube preamp, EQ section, output stage and reverb. Additional effects include stereo chorus and delay.

Polarity have announced that further amplifier and effects modules will be available for purchase by registered users, making the GXStack fully upgradeable.

GXStack is compatible with major VST sequencers, and offers low-latency performance for live monitoring while recording.

GXStack is available now at the introductory offer price of $39.95 direct from Polarity.
