Scottish company Red5 Audio has launched a new Florida-based company in the USA. The US company will initially carry a reduced product range but will give US and Canada customers access to Red5 products, previously unavailable in the US. Red5's large diaphragm condenser mics and drum mics have already been available in the UK and Europe.
In a slight change to their existing strategy, Red5 will also distribute directly to US dealers. A director for Red5 Audio in Scotland comments, "Our own on-line shop will continue but many people still want to walk into their local music shop and buy. It's important we recognise and support that".
