Joining the Diamond Series is the Jazz Elite, a hollowbody guitar constructed with a maple body, quilted maple top, mahogany neck, and Duncan Designed pickups.

New Jazz Elite Hollowbody Guitar from Schecter

March 30, 2004

After making it's debut at the recent Winter NAMM Show, Schecter's Diamond Series Jazz Elite are now available at authorized Schecter dealers.

The single cutaway Hollow body features a maple body highlighted with a Quilted Maple top. A 24.75" scale mahogany neck with a bound 2-fret rosewood fingerboard is set into the bound body.

This guitar is armed with two Special Duncan Designed HB-101 humbuckers. These pickups, voiced exclusively for the Jazz Elite, have been wound with alnico magnets, yielding vintage-type tones. The HB-101s can be 'split', via the Elite's individual Tone controls, for cleaner, 'single-coil' tones.

Other features include TonePros Tune-o-matic, ornate Trapeze Tailpiece, gold Grover tuners and Abalone 'block' inlay. The Jazz Elite is available in Vintage Natural Gloss (VNG) and Black Cherry (BCH).

MSRP is $899.00. A Left Handed version is also available ($949.00) in Vintage Natural Gloss.
