Three types of musician you'll prefer to work with in the studio, and one type that you won't
Solid State Logic has proudly announced the newest component to the X-Rack modular rack system: the Eight Input Module.
The Eight Input Module was developed in response to requests from X-Rack users for a line input module designed to accommodate larger quantities of stereo line level inputs from studio sources such as sub mixers and synthesizers. The Eight Input Module offers greater connectivity than the Four Input Module but does not offer independent Level, Solo & Pan control. The Line Input modules are both designed for use in conjunction with the recently released Master Bus Module, the summing, metering & control room module that enables users to configure the X-Rack as a multi input, dual stereo bus mini SSL with Total Recall®.
Key features of the X-Rack Eight Input Module include:
Based on SuperAnalogue™ electronics from SSL's XL 9000 K Series console, X-Rack is a modular rack system with Total Recall™ that delivers the classic SSL sound in a uniquely versatile form. Each X-Rack chassis holds up to eight modules in any configuration; with the introduction of the Eight Input Module, six different modules are offered.
EQ and Dynamics modules can be combined to form comprehensive standalone processing solutions. Versatile recording channels and standalone mixers can be configured by adding Mic Amp, Master Bus, Four Input and Eight Input modules. The hugely popular X-Rack delivers the very highest-quality analogue recording and summing path and is the perfect configurable solution for studio or live applications.
