We don't often feature eBay auctions on Audio Masterclass, but this one is different. This is for an ultra-classic Studer C37 right out of the era of The Beatles.

This is the model that fabled electronics guru Tim de Paravicini chose to base his amazing one-inch stereo tape recorder on.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We don't have any connection with the seller, other than having his permission to use the pics.

Look out for the photo of the editing scissors - they rise up out of the deck and snip the tape!
