Fishman has added an accessible volume wheel to the Rare Earth humbucking pickup to ensure greater control in live performance situations. The new volume control replaces the brilliance switch, offering players easy access control over volume.

The new Rare Earth also offers up to 3 dB of increased headroom for ideal response with coated strings. Its neodymium magnets provide excellent string-to-string balance while the pickup's active electronics maintain sonic purity according to the company.

Fishman will include a new package decal announcing this feature upgrade and, the best news, there will be no additional cost to dealers.

MSRP for the Rare Earth Humbucking pickup is $219.95.
