Like the big surround brother W5 (following in June), W2 allows creating room emulations either based on impulse responses or by a proprietary algorithm -- and even allows for arbitrary combination of both technologies. Existing impulse responses can be loaded and using Wizoo's proprietary algorithm, optimized.
W2 will run both standalone and as a plug-in, supporting VST, AudioUnit, and RTAS formats.
W2 will be available by the end of April at $249 MSRP.
Coming in June 2005 is the W5, a 5.1 surround reverb with FX section and 10 new HDIR models. MSRP: $449.
